In each of Natalie's classes, she supports students as they strengthen personal agency over their body and practice. As a teacher she believes her main responsibility is to act as a guide for students to connect with their own inherent wisdom. Natalie took her first yoga class over 20 years ago, but it took about 10 years of casual practice before she was ready to commit to the life of a serious student. In 2012, Natalie was certified to teach yoga, and since then she has also received her 500hr certification. She was also trained in clinical massage therapy at The Soma Institute in Chicago, in the art of Thai massage at The Sunshine School in Chiang Mai, Thailand and with Ohm Rinraya of Omsala in Chiang Mai. Natalie shares Restorative and gentle yoga, thoughtfully sequenced vinyasa classes, meditation and yoga nidra. Regardless of the style, Natalie’s classes are welcoming, engaging and vibrant. She brings trauma informed and psych sensitive perspective into each of her classes and is also certified to teach the TBI community through Love Your Brain Yoga.
