C.J. was first introduced to yoga in 2003 while traveling with her sister in Costa Rica. Amazed by the transformation she experienced through yoga, C.J. completed a 200-hour teacher training at Moksha in 2011. She has since gathered tools and guidance from various mentors with a focus on restorative and gentle techniques. C.J. believes in the power of being still. Her goal is to create an atmosphere in which students feel safe and comfortable . . . a nurturing space where students can look inward and discover their own path towards greater balance and joy. She also believes in the power of trying something new. Through the asana practice, she feels one can clear a path of self-awareness and exploration, which allows students to become ever-present within all aspects of their daily life. Through teaching yoga, C.J hopes to help others find a clarity through which they can generate a colorful, dynamic and peaceful life.
