I walked into my first yoga studio in January of 2004. I didn’t realize it at the time, but my “new year’s resolution” would change my life forever. I thought I was attempting a new form of exercise; something to finally rid myself of that nagging post-baby weight; something to finally get me into shape. Little did I know then how much more yoga would become for me. I certainly burned calories in my Vinyasa flow classes, but there was so much more. For the first time in my life, I developed a true passion; an entirely new way of being. Deep down to my core, yoga changed me. I eat differently, breathe differently and think differently. I cannot imagine my life without yoga.
In 2009, I completed my 200-hour certification with Blue Sun Yoga Teacher Training (RYS) and am registered with the Yoga Alliance (RYT). I enjoy teaching Gentle yoga and Level 1 Vinyasa Flow classes. I continue to expand my education by regularly attending yoga, meditation and wellness workshops. I believe in a friendly, welcoming environment and a teaching style that emphasizes proper alignment, while promoting a deeper connection to body, mind and spirit.
